My role as Buyer within the FMCG sector of Mozambique has enabled me to apply quick decision-making in a fast paced, high pressure environment. I was also part of the management team, assisting with operations in 16 supermarkets nationwide. My responsibilities included:- Category management(+-800m Meticais)- Supplier relations management- Advertising and marketing- Pricing and ranging decisions- Project management and day-to-day buying administration. Both Mozambique's cultural diversity and different and unique provinces, each one with it's own particular challenges, enabled me to both apply and further develop my skills in a complex business environment in one of Africa's most promising economies.
