Martin is an attorney, foundation president, experienced corporate board member, and venture partner. His law firm, O’Connor, Morss & O’Connor, represents closely held companies, family offices, and high-profile individuals on issues related to general business planning, trust administration, wealth preservation and protection, and estate planning. He is president of the Leavitt Foundation and is involved in other charitable and civic-minded organizations. Additionally, Martin has earned appointments as counsel by the New Jersey Judiciary.Martin is a venture partner with Redwood Ventures and GRIT Capital Ventures, which invests in high-potential entrepreneurs in the areas of technology and data. As a corporate board member, he served as a director for Rentrak, a publicly traded global digital media research company, from 2010 until their merger with Comscore in 2017. He also served on the board of Cinedigm Digital, a market-leading provider of services, experiences, technology, and content to movie theaters from 2010 to 2016, as well as Digital Cinema Destinations Corp., a publicly traded motion picture exhibitor, from 2010 until their acquisition by Carmike Cinemas in 2014. Martin served as executive producer for the film “Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In,” a documentary detailing the life and legend of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson released in May 2021.
