Building ProAm from the ground up was fascinating; I was forced to learn every aspect of healthcare operations. Most impactful to ProAm's early sucess was the ability to attract and retain staff; an organization can't grow without an engaging and inclusive culture. After #PeopleOps, ProAm is relentlessly focused on the unique needs of each of our customers. Most recently, we've has partnered with Integra, Rhode Island's largest Accountable Care Organization, to provide acute-care Paramedic services as part of the Integra @Home Program. This first of its kind program has been recognized by Institute for Healthcare Improvement for successfully achieving the triple-aim. By partnering primary-care providers, ProAm Paramedics, and home-nursing agencies, Integra @Home is able to manage the acute exacerbation of COPD, CHF, and diabetes while reducing emergency department utilization.
