Global Engineering Solutions (GES) is the technical design authority (TDA) for customer networks. GES owns the customer’s network architecture and is responsible for the implementation of all design-impacting changes, architecture reviews, capacity management, problem management, etc. for VIP customers. The technical scope of GES includes LAN and WAN engineering, IP Services engineering, IP Telephony, Wi-Fi and various other network-based technologies. Responsibilities:• Change management - understand complex network designs (WAN, LAN, data centre, IPT, etc.) and implement the required MACD (move, add, change, disconnect) changes.• Update network and all accompanying documentation including but not limited to updates into inventory systems, creation of orders, handing over devices to operation teams• Implementation of configuration changes on network devices• Verifying configuration integrity and troubleshooting• Collect and organize customer documentation in data repositories (sharepoint, etc.)• Perform network audits to verify compliance to standards• Pro-actively look for ways to improve customer satisfaction• Provide Operations teams with 4th level support with customer specific knowledge
