• To provide key Discipline engineering and Technical Authority support & guidance to the Dunlin Decommissioning Team, client & 3rd party contractors• To review the performance/integrity of the existing offshore facilities, identify remedial scopes & implement or define required implementation scopes• To undertake discipline reviews of the safety case and associated performance standards.• To undertake discipline evaluations of the status of existing facilities & of proposed modifications developed & implemented by others & to ensure effectiveness & integrity of implementation.• To ensure the ongoing technical integrity of the offshore facilities, including modifications undertaken by 3rd party contractors • As engineering scope initiator, to interface & expedite 3rd party engineering scopes under Duty Holder’s remit• Providing day to day engineering guidance & support to operations on matters relating to the offshore facilities. Including operability and reliability of Safety systems, Fire pumps, Lifeboats and heli-fuel packages.• Reviewing the performance of the offshore facilities to ensure ongoing integrity• Undertaking preliminary concept evaluations as appropriate to determine safe ways to enhance the offshore facilities• Defining discipline requirements into SORs for 3rd party contractors to undertake FEED & detailed engineering & implementation.• Undertaking technical evaluation of 3rd party contractor proposals for modification to the facilities to ensure technical integrity is not impaired. • Justifying concept proposals to line management, client & stakeholders on required changes / remedial actions.• Developing a close working relationship with the client to ensure their technical requirements, expectations are fully understood, communicated to relevant parties.• Reviewing & ensuring technical integrity of all proposed changes to the offshore facilities.• Contributing to the management of change process with respect to key technical input.
