About Martin Betts

I founded HEDx as global content and advisory services that are changing higher education for good. I am a leader and innovator in the higher education sector with experience as a Deputy Vice Chancellor of Engagement and Executive Dean of STEM, Design, Built Environment and Business disciplines.I have academic and executive experience of universities in Europe, Asia and Australia and currently work with the leading global universities and advise leading global EdTech companies in the US, UK and Australia.I am a host of the higher Ed sector’s leading podcast called HEDx and am co-author of three books on the New Leadership Agenda and the New Learning Economy and Changing Higher Education for Good outlining principles and strategies that will inform the future of higher education.I benefited from transformational advantages of education in ways that my sister and others have been denied and I want to change that. And I learnt from my father who passed this year that you make change happen by engaging with people and putting action before talk. That’s what I’m doing.
