About Martin Brada
I recently started a job as a thermal simulations engineer in Bordeaux, France working on immersion cooling for batteries.This came after three years in Shanghai, China working as a thermal system engineer for Ricardo. Before that, I was an employee of EDAG Engineering and worked as a contractor at Škoda Auto in the position of aerodynamicist for two years.During my master's studies, I worked as a research assistant at the university where I could participate in several research and also commercial projects.

Thermal Simulation Engineer
Development of primarily immersion cooled batteries for various applications in the automotive, rail and aerospace sectors. I run CFD and 1D simulations of battery modules/packs to assess performance, cell venting and thermal runaway propagation and carry out experimental validation of the simulation results. I also build 1D models of battery packs in MATLAB&Simulink and get involved in battery cell modelling and HVAC modelling.
