The festival [fjúžn] is been organized by Milan Simecka Foundation since 2006. The main aim of the festival is to bring people of diverse cultures together, to raise awareness about new minorities, to present the life of foreigners and sensitize the public on the topic of migration and multiculturalism. [fjúžn] is a week- long multi - genre festival during which there are held series of varied events – concerts, dance and theatre performances, film projections, debates, workshops and informal meetings. In the early years, the festival took place under the name of New Minorities Week. Initially, it was an intimate event, which has grown since that time each year until it becomes a small festival, which nowadays belongs to the regular spring cultural events of our increasingly varied capital. Fresh fruit, n.o. (Slovak name Čerstvé Ovocie, n.o.) is a non-profit organization that provides welfare services within the realms of design, development, protection, restoration and presentation of spiritual and cultural values.Fresh Fruit was founded in June 2010 in Bratislava.
