Entry level engineering position with a focus on advanced technical and professional level work in office and field in utility and enery management related engineering, construction project coordination and budget administration pursuant to PE licensing. Responsibilities include project oversight and benchmark assessment, fund acquisition coordination, project accountability, planning, administrative preparation, permitting, and execution of capital improvement projects for UES, serving almost 22 million gross square feet (GSF) of facilities and 19 million GSF of conditioned (cooled and heated) space expressed in an extensive network of electrical distribution and water distribution/collection systems serve over 700 buildings on campus, and provide utility service to over 5,000 acres of land. This position requires independent decision making and technical discretion with knowledge of electrical, water, environmental, roadway and general construction planning, procedures, and materials. Work is subject to review by licensed engineering personnel through oral and written reports and by inspection.
