It pays to listen carefully and treat them as long-term partners.Staff recruitment, motivation, retention, and culture are also key. I take immense pride in developing and empowering my staff; building a culture that helps challenge and retain my teams. Outside of work, besides being a chauffeur to my busy children, I am a keen but slowing down sportsman - now mainly stretching my ligaments on the golf course, tennis, squash, or badminton court. I am a coach for my son's football team and I find my memberships of the LOGGS and ECC social dining groups bring me great fun and camaraderie.
