Involved in Railway Preservation from its start in the late 1960's and Heritage Railways as the preserved lines are now know. Trained as a television and video engineer before starting a sucsessfull canal trip boat business for group operators with many food options available. Operating to class V standards regulated by the MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency). Now 'Retired' enjoying driving steam trains and heritage diesel locomotives and various manual and accounting jobs (SAGE50 online) on preserved lines in Yorkshire and North Wales.
