I work on finding and fixing issues in existing software currently being used in the health board. These had been developed in the past and issues have started to arise as the board updated OS and Web browsers. I work on the main intranet page make changes to the Style Sheets or adding functionality via JavaScript that wasn’t initially part of the site. I.

In my current roles I act as the first point of contact for any issues that arise within NHS D&G. I also need to prioritise the faults as they get logged so any dependable systems have minimal downtime when issues arise. Once jobs are logged I attempt to fix these remotely without causing any major inconvenience to the users. I am able to resolve a large.

In this position I answered and log calls that the helpdesk receives and help with the upkeep and ordering of stock for the IT store. The role on the helpdesk side mainly involves password resets and laptop unlocks while logging hardware and software faults for the engineers. Within stockroom my role involves the unboxing and imaging any PC or Terminals.

My responsibilities included visiting a wide range of clients in the private and public sectors to install and maintain a number of products to Primary Care establishments. The role also covered many corporate customers all over Scotland. In these site's I am responsible for installing new systems and resolving any issues that may arise.
