Since starting as the Assistant Manager for The Range it is my responsibility to oversee the store during my shifts, my day to day activity can include:• Working on the sales floor as the main point of contact for staff and as part of the management team to deliver high standards of sales merchandising and meeting targets.• Planning and implemented all merchandising guidelines bringing the store back to company standards.• Analysing sales data and KPI targets, liaising with buying teams to adjust stock levels based on consumer trends.• Working with Admin to ensure the store is HR and Health and Safety compliant and filling out the appropriate paperwork needed.• Recruitment and Training of staff in all aspects of the company to ensure they are hitting targets and following store guidelines.• Customer Service enquires that requires a more experienced solution.• Cash Management, Banking and Payroll.

As a Sales Assistant for the Furniture department my main focus was on the sales floor my day to day actives would include:• Stock Replenishment• Visual Merchandising on sales floor room sets.• Driving sales, • Arranged deliveries and stock requests for customer orders• Handled all customer service issues in relation to the Patio and Furniture departments.

Working as part of the Management team to deliver excellent standards across the store inline with the company goals. Ensuring all of the stores sales targets and KPIs are met.Improving annual sales in the Software department from one of the lowest in the region to the highest in the company.Recruited, hired and trained more than 20 new employees.Mentored three retail assistants to supervisory level, who have all since been promoted.Successfully tackled stock loss, reducing the store wastage , showing an improvement on a yearly basis.
