Joined Hempel Malta ) Lts in January 1994. as Technical Manager. Promoted to post of General Manager in 2000.Responsible for the company's Operations in Libya, consisting of Sales, Stock and Technical Assistance.

Responsible for the execution of various projects from Planning Stage to final handing over, in Malta and Libya. These included Painting works at Malta Free Port, Oil Tanking Terminal, Farsons New Brewery Block and Kordin Grain Terminal. Other major contracts were carried out in Libya, namely Complete Painting of The Sarir Power Plant (Six Gas Turbine Units) For the Great Man Made River Project.The main contractor for this Project were C.Itoh from Japan and the Turbines were supplied by Westinghouse.Another major project was the painting of Harbour Sheet Pilings at Es –Sider Terminal Libya, for Waha Oil Company. Works consisted of Blasting and Painting of 760 mts of Jetty Pilings from Half meter underwater up to top of quay.
