Mechanical Services Manager promoted to Senior MEP Services Manager in 2007 involved heavily in the D&B of a large Retail development in Bradford.

In Aug 2006 was promoted to Senior ME Services Manager with overall responsibility for the delivery of all the MEP and ensured a successful Centre opening in Oct 07 with full life safety systems in place. Overseen the Cause & Effect including numerous presentations to the relevant Local Authority and Client. Managed the MEP team effectively during a very demanding and stressful construction/retail fit out phase.

Decommissioned the existing Eagle Centre, Derby to clear the site for the new Westfield Derby shopping experience, £350m value including all the utilities & a 33kV integral substation. Involved in the tender package preparation and tender selection process for the services circa £30m Overseen the co-ordination of the services Managed and motivated a team of mechanical supervisors ensuring good working relationships prevailed

Technical engineering and integration of the Mechanical and Electrical installation into the hospital buildings at, primarily, Russell Halls Hospital ensuring achievement of targets and technical standards as well as the external Utilities. Effectively engineered and controlled all aspects of a £10m subcontract M&E works including cost control. Motivated , managed and controlled all staff working under their control ensuring good employee relations. Overseen co-ordination of the M&E services including Medical Gases. Ensured the installation complied fully with the Specification, HTM's, HBN's and British Standards. Provided full commissioning support.

Responsible for the HVAC fit-out valued at £6.5m brought in ahead of schedule and within budget. Full co-ordination of all the Mechanical & Electrical services. Responsible for releasing and monitoring work packages to sub-contractors values from £100k to £1m. Demonstrating to the client HVAC plant meets design specification requirements. Full commissioning support including demonstrating mechanical plant shutdown, staircase pressurisation, fire smoke damper operation interface with fire alarm systems.
