Full testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products using HPLC, GC, AA, UV,VIS,IR as well as physical testing and wet chemistry techniques.1982-1992 Senior Management Board member responsible for Operations at Peter Hand Animal Health Leyland 1993-1995 Head of Production Grampian Pharmaceuticals Lancashire1996- 1998 Head of Quality Grampian Pharmaceuticals Lancashire and Dundee 1998-2003 Operations Director Sorex Widnes. Responsible for all aspects of own brand manufacture, distribution and contract manufacture.Decided to operate as a freelance consultant formed QP Solutions Ltd2003-2006 Principal Consultant Bergander Business Improvement - under a contract.2006-2011- Associate Practitioner for MASAdvised and supported over 300 companies across food, engineering, service industries, manufacturing in operations. distribution, product development, strategic planning, leadership and teamwork utilising and training staff in Lean Manufacturing Techniques. 2012- present day:Own and run a boat building business Character Boats as well as working as a QP for major corporate clients such as BASF and Cargill. Also advising and working for NOD Apiary Products a specialist manufacturer of ectoparasiticides for the protection of Bees.Currently working with Cross Healthcare and Net-Tex Pharma as a QP. In addition advising the BHMA on a Good Herbal Medicine Manufacturing Practice standard for implementing during 2020.
