Having started my professional life with Big 4 firms and passed the ACA exams first time in 1985, I went into industry in 1997 to be “at the sharp end”. After 8 years in Group/Company FD roles, I co-founded and ran a support services business, growing it to £8m turnover in 3 years. That period taught me a great deal about growth businesses as well as managing through difficult times. I exited that business in 2010 and entered the interim market as an interim CFO/FD and have relished the opportunity to focus my experience and skill sets together with my personal strengths into situations I most enjoy. Those situations are SME businesses facing significant opportunities or challenges that need a CFO with the depth of experience to add value at all levels. I have enjoyed widespread sector experience including: Manufacturing, Technology, Energy, Electronics, Media, Support Services, Telecoms, Hospitality, IT, financial services. Ich spreche Deutsch!
