My team deals with technical assessments and evaluation, project prototyping through scientific research and development, optimization, code refactoring & design and portability issues.

As the Director of Technology, I managed a team of developers working on a Digital Cinema for independent content solution and a web content management system.I have been involved in the requirements, the design, and the implementation of the system through several cinema theatres across the country and abroad.The technological challenges and technology choices were day-to-day business, as well as managing the resources and budget on tight deliverables.

Being the Head of development at FPP means managing the developer resources of the company (hiring process, HR, performance evaluation) as well as taking charge of the product development (managing team resources - size, team member assigments, team member supervision), specifying the product requirements, designing the architecture of the product and developing the build management system.As a startup company, First Person Plural runs on its first round of venture capital. We're here to build up the company and move forward towards the second round of financing.

Through my eight years at Discret, I played an important role in the development of Combustion - a motion graphics/vector paint and 3D compositor solution. Before becoming the Team Leader of the product in 2002, I worked on many components of the software, with more focus on the hardware-accelerated 3D compositor and the re-factoring of its underlying architecture.

I started at Matrox in the image processing group as a software developer where I acquired the basics of image processing algorithms, object-oriented software development and low-level drivers for the Windows NT/XP platform.
