The multi-million dollar digital governor and electronic exciter upgrades to 3 power generation unit.- Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) on the Raw Water Ultraviolet Light Treatment of the raw water cooling water contract. The treatment helps eliminate microscopic zebra mussels and that are affecting the cooling water for the generators and associated equipment.- Has supervisory responsibility over 13 Operations and Maintenance personnel in the power plant. Assigns and plans work to be accomplished through subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. Recommends and develops performance standards and ratings. Evaluates work performance of subordinates. Gives advice, counsel, and instructions to employees on both work and administrative matters. Hears and resolves complaints and group grievances.- Recommends to the Operations Project Manager specific items to be included in the power plant budget proposals for incorporation into the total project budget request. Reviews design packages and evaluate the construction, alteration of projects from the standpoint of feasibility and maintainability of facilities. Ensures O&M drawings are current and maintained. Uses the Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) System
