August 2012 – Present: Engineering Contractor (thru Solidyn Solutions) to Raytheon and Northrop Grumman, Aurora, COSystem EngineerRaytheon proprietary program. Providing engineering support to both the system engineering and integration teams. Working requirements, integration, and documentation.(CO – Solidyn Solutions, Inc.) Supported Raytheon for the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) for NOAA and NASA for the past 3+ years. Lead System Engineer responsible for Enterprise Management. This core function provides communication for the entire system, thus spans many facets of system engineering. Performing multiple roles (architecture design, requirement analysis, implementation, test, troubleshooting, etc.) to meet critical milestones.4/2009 - 3/2012: Engineering Contractor (Self-Employed) to Boeing Corp. – Washington, D.C.Lead System Engineer for the O&M IPT, responsible for readiness assessment for deployment of a new system. Developed an operational readiness tool for collection, assessment, and briefing to Customer. This task required frequent briefings to Customer and other personnel.2/2003 – 4/2009: Engineering Contractor (Self-Employed) to Boeing Corp. – Seal Beach, CALead System Engineer for the O&M IPT, responsible for all activities associated with the system that involved coordination of exercise activities, developing and presenting briefing to internal as well as Customer personnel. Authored CONOPS and O&M Instruction documentation. Coordinating, developing presentation material, and hosting frequent data sharing meetings with Customer. Direct support to ECP efforts, providing staffing analysis requirements and developing BOEs (Basis of Estimates).System Engineer contracted to Boeing Corporation in Seal Beach, CA. Fault Management lead responsible for fault analysis for the fault detection, notification, investigation, and resolution process. Coordinated teammate effort on a variety of disciplines, and authored Element level documentation.

July 1996 – February 2003: Harris Corp. – Melbourne, FLNov 1999 – Feb 2003: System Engineer on site in Seal Beach, CA supporting a large multi-team contract. Provided direct support to A-Spec requirement analysis, evaluation, and recommendation of modifications/additions. Authored a variety of documentation related to Program requirements and support to Program process.Project Engineer on a large data processing element. Responsibilities included coordinating and overseeing software/hardware releases and research of functional needs for potential incorporation into project subsystems. Also consulted to the software team for technical design, review of requirements and marketing of current and future capabilities to the Customer and potential new Customers.Chief Software/System Engineer on a large data processing element. Responsibilities included management of four design engineers, coordination of all activities involved in supplying software products to customer sites, and presentation of capabilities to market the system. Also performed design, code, integration and test of a subsystem that utilized an Oracle database. Coding was performed in C++ utilizing a UNIX Sun workstation.

July 1995 – July 1996: Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corp. – Boulder, COLead design engineer on a new contract. Software design involved control of a diverse array of mechanical and electrical devices. Responsibility was initially to develop a software process to achieve SEI standards, coauthored Preliminary Design Document, authored Detailed Design Document and Interface Control Document. All code design was embedded using Echelon Neuron technology (Neuron C) and Motorola microprocessors.
