I managed upgrade programs, sought new ideas and implemented improvements to the systems wherever possible and practical.I also provided project support for mobile assets such as Reel Drives, Carousels, Winches and Tensioners, globally throughout the Subsea 7 fleet.

Promoted to Supervisor, Additional responsibilities including; managing a full shift of mechanical technicians, ensuring subordinates are correctly trained and skilled for the task, prioritising workloads in consultation with senior management and tasking manpower accordingly.Instruct team members in the completion of fault diagnosis and rectification tasks and assume responsibility for leading teams of between three and six technicians through larger rectification tasks.Spent 8 months in 2003/2004 working in direct support of UK operations in the middle East, handling and carrying out rectification where required on various aircraft types in order to enable them to complete essential missions against critical deadlines, as well as overseas postings in 2005-08 to Gibraltar and 2012 to the Falkland Islands.In 2006, also qualified in the maintenance, operation and fault diagnosis of aircraft propulsion systems, such as Rolls Royce jet engines and basic electrical fault finding.Trained and experienced in the use of major component test equipment and in the use of heavy lifting equipment, such as cranes, slings and hoists.
