As an intern at Process Academy gGmbH since January 2024, I have been responsible for the development and implementation of a new online educational program focused on green business process management. My role involves researching sustainable practices, designing course content, and coordinating with experts in the field to deliver engaging learning materials. Through this project, I am contributing to fostering environmentally conscious business practices while enhancing my own skills in program management and educational design.

As a receptionist since May 2023, I bring a wealth of experience from 12 years working in EU funding and regional development for the Slovak government and 10 years as the director of the Slovak Centre in London. In my current role, I manage reservations, check-ins, and guest requests, leveraging my strong communication and problem-solving skills to ensure a seamless experience for every guest. My background in high-level project management and international engagement allows me to deliver exceptional service with a strategic mindset, creating a welcoming environment while multitasking efficiently under pressure.

For the realisation of desired objectives, I actively engage in leading all aspects related to the grant lifecycle and support grantees, encompassing monitoring implementation, closeout, and expenditures.To discover and capitalise on major funding opportunities for cross-functional stakeholders I conduct and lead detailed research across challenging markets.For the seamless execution of routine business operations, I provide Subject Matter Expertise on multiple types of funds available, the application processes, and criteria for eligibility and connections towards EU funding programmes and other organisations.Some of my selected contributions are... • Contributed to providing strategic consultation to potential stakeholders from public and private sector NGOs on exploring funding opportunities and ensuring all partners were ready for the first calls coming out in 2023 towards the funding of renewable energy technologies.• Reduced the energy consumption and cycle bridge from the Slovakia-Hungary program worth €1M.• Re-constructed and modernised historical landmark by spearheading the third stage of Eco Centre Cunovo through the organisation of a new exhibition; educating visitors on climate change topics worth €2M.

For the smooth running of daily functions, I enforced leading-edge regional development strategies, including regional innovation, smart, energy, health care, and tourism.To fight with major climate change by steering environmental education centres concept and sustainable mobility master plan creation activities I performed several assigned tasks and operations, such as staff recruitment and selection, internship programme administration, budget planning and formulation, adaptation plan.To ensure realisation of win-win outcomes I organised research for discovering potential partners across abroad countries by managing budget negotiation, common activities, and outcomes indicators.Some of my selected contributions are...• Played an integral role in successful negotiations as a result the Bratislava area was able to increase its total EU cohesion policy allocation from €20 million to €1.4 billion for the period of 2021 to 2027) by way of effective negotiations.• Developed and created a new position for energy manager; aiding organisation in securing 20% on energy bills within the first year.• Attained two representatives with 100% increased the budget for related lobbying activities and cultural diplomacy as in charge of Regional Representation with one person.• Achieved multi-million-euros total worth €150M EU funds from stakeholders, including €19M (EU funding money for Vocational Education and Training Centres), €5M (Eco-centre Cunovo), €2.5M (Institute of Regional Policy), €3M (Bike and Boat “Danube Islands”).• Gained €40M in extra funds for driving primary school capacities via negotiation with European Commission and Slovak government.• Assisted top leadership in accelerating 40% budget based on new action plans with concrete outputs, timelines, and accountabilities.• Oversaw Regional Tourist Board activities, whilst acting as in charge of tourism agenda in the Bratislava region for preparation of a new tourism strategy 2030.

During this tenure, I was involved in steering a wide range of Management and community work for Slovaks living in UK, presentation of Slovakia in the UK, and close interaction with governmental & international institutions.Here I also support personnel and stakeholders in development of other Slovak Centres abroad across Dublin – Ireland.By acting as a first point of contact for stakeholders, I presented Slovakia in the UK.Through proper planning and implementation, I organised and chaired cultural and community events, such as Slovak-British Ball, SlavFest, and Thames Festival.Some of my major achievements are...• Managed the community work for approximately 200K Slovaks• Explored and managed the Slovak folk group Karpaty• Played an integral role in publishing an English-Slovak magazine as well as establishing a community web portal www.slovakcentre.sk
