Over a period of 10 years the company developed from Fortune Cookie with around 50 employees to POSSIBLE, and I had the opportunity on working on a huge range of projects, from custom static html site builds, to full solution global rollouts.The role as a Project Manager was central to every project I worked on as we were responsible for scoping, planning and delivering the project. This meant that you had to be skilled in every aspect of the Project Lifecycle, and my key activities included: - Pitch new ideas to clients - Provide estimates across multiple disciplines - Write proposals and statements of work - Analyse Risks, Issues and Dependencies - Work with the Resource Manager to build a team - Manage teams across multiple locations (UK, Poland, Hungary, US) - Work closely with client stakeholders (Daily with a Client Project Manager and weekly with wider stakeholders) - Provide regular Highlight reports where I would track Risks, Issues, Actions and Dependencies - Facilitate the change control procedure when the project was exceeding tolerances or new requests received from the client - Organise deployments and the release management process - Close projects and facilitate wash up sessionsAs Project Manger I worked closely with both the direct client team as well as our own Client Services team to ensure long term strategic relationships were built with clients and look at the future pipeline of work.The main clients I worked with over this period were: - Aston Martin - The Co-Operative - Canon - Aegon - Legal and General- Grant Thornton

I started my career as a Project Manager at Open World who focused on building websites for Luxury Hotels.I had already been working closely with clients in my previous role as UI developer so this was a natural progression.Over the 4 years I worked with the following clients amongst others: - The Dorchester Group - Fairmont Hotels - Intercontinental - Hyatt International - Small Luxury Hotels (SLH)Most of the projects were custom html builds, however, we developed an in-house CMS to use with some of the bigger clients.Unfortunately, Open World went into receivership, however, one of the clients recommended me to Fortune Cookie, which is why I subsequently moved to London

I originally worked with Open World as a front end interface developer, where I learnt html, css, flash and the basics of JavaScript.My role mainly involved making maintenance and support updates to existing websites. For example if a client needed a new banner, images, text updates or a new section created then I would work with them to make these updates.
