I have enjoyed working as a pharmacist for 19 years in retail, long term care, and mail order settings. I have worked fast and been proficient with data order entry, validation, and verification of prescriptions. I have also ordered medications and worked with inventory, supervised pharmacy staff on existing and new procedures along with delegating product preparation and workflow tasks, removed and returned outdated medications, utilized many prescription automated and robotic machines, and worked with various computer systems.I have been able to multitask many functions and finish tasks in a short time period while concentrating on getting everything done correctly and efficiently. My multitasking has involved numerous tasks speaking to the public on the telephone or in-person, performing data order entry on a computer, researching computer applications on company software or approved Internet/Intranet websites, utilizing fax machine and other office equipment, and sorting and organizing records into appropriate files.I enjoy being a delegate with attending yearly educational sessions at the Ohio Pharmacists Association Convention and being a trustee going to monthly meetings at the Academy of Pharmacy of Central Ohio in which I have learned much about many disease states and drug therapy through these sessions and professional reading. I recently updated my immunization certification in December when I completed the Ohio Pharmacists Association pharmacist training program. I am always eager to learn new information and skills, and I am a quick learner.
