Martin Jacobs is a dynamic consultant creative director, stylist and content creator with a passion for design, a love of words, and an eye for meticulous attention to detail. Martin is available to work, or collaborate, with you.With over twenty years experience on international and local market-leading titles at the forefront of the media industry, Martin is a true professional meticulous in matters of attention to detail, whilst equally capable of seeing the bigger picture.​He is proficient at managing productions from concept to completion, and a content creator adept at conveying a coherent message through the sophisticated and strategic combination of images and words.​Martin has a love for, and deep appreciation of, interior and product design, architecture, art, food and travel. This focused passion has lead him to spend a large part of his magazine career strategising and creating for interior and lifestyle titles. As an expert with over 20 years experience in the magazine/media industry, Martin most recently served as the Creative Director of Condé Nast House&Garden as well as Condé Nast House&Garden Gourmet magazines, before going freelance in 2019. He rejoined Condé Nast Independent Magazines in September 2011 as Creative Director of House&Garden, having previously worked for the company in 2004 as Assistant Art Director on the launch of Glamour magazine. Martin has been involved in a number of magazine launches. His most recent has been that of Condé Nast House&Garden Gourmet magazine for which he has been instrumental in its creative vision. Similarly, he was involved from the start on Media24's Men's Health Best Life magazine and acted as Art Director until its closure in 2009. In the years following that, and prior to joining the House&Garden team, he served as Art Director on Marie Claire magazine at Associated Magazines, having previously worked for the company on House & Leisure magazine.His clients as a consultant include TASTE magazine, VISI magazine, Private Edition and Val De Vie magazines, as well as brands including Poetry, Cape Union Mart, Cara Saven Wall Design and the V&A Waterfront. Martin has written features for international publications including Elle Decoration UK and Aspire Magazine.
