I was employed as a Technical Training Instructor and reported to the Global Training and Competency Manager, managing delivery of 40 courses per year with 12 students per class, including soft skills, equipment maintenance, operations, trouble shooting and safety training.• Managed procurement of equipment / resources for training requirements.• Prepared and delivered technical training courses to company employees as well as clients for the MPD Product Line, including equipment maintenance, preparation, operating procedures and processes.• Monitored and supervised day-to-day activities of students, facilities, classrooms and training equipment.• Supervised students, ensuring safe work procedures were followed and equipment operated as per specifications.• Performed evaluations to provide corrective actions for employees.• Assisted in development of online training sessions for the introduction of equipment to new employees.Key Achievements:• Successfully trained and mentored over ~500 cross cultural Engineers and Technicians, including MENA, APAC, Europe, North America and South America both onsite and from Global Training Centres.• Developed and delivered first ever global courses on Compression and Separation at the Weatherford Technology and Training Centre in Fort Worth in TX.• Developed documentation packages and training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, maintenance manuals, operating manuals and work instructions for new product lines. • Developed 8 online learning courses using PP and Oracle, including marine and land series rotating equipment, set point choke operations, general choke & valve maintenance, downhole deployment valve operations and maintenance.
