Genmed.me Ltd provides integrated solutions via our Managed Service Contract (MSC) to the NHS and public sector. We specialise in the financial and contractual side of managed services across all clinical disciplines, including construction, facilities management and IT. Our distinction is in integrating many suppliers and services into flexible MSC, which increases productivity, reduces costs and releases cash. Genmed enables departments to work within their current budget spend, eliminating the need for new capital.My current role within Genmed is twofold:Internally I am responsible for out IT systems, researching the systems and technologies needed to support our business. Implementing and maintaining those systems and training our team on those systems.Externally I am responsible for researching and developing IT-based MSC in the NHS and Public Sector, the following is a list of the MSCs we have or are in development:• ICT rolling PC replacement (desktop, laptop, COWs, printers, mobile devices, PDAs, infection-control keyboards/mice etc.)• Infrastructure upgrade (servers, storage, network infrastructure, virtualisation, etc.)• Wi-Fi deployment (a Wi-Fi deployment which replaces network switches capable of delivering VoIP & video over IP)• Medical notes digitisation• Document digitisation (e.g. supplies, finance Department)• Enterprise content management (solutions for departments or trust wide)• e-Procurement systems (implement a Trust wide e-Procurement system) • Inventory management systems (just-in-time systems for pathology and surgery)• Cleaning Audit solution (produces near real-time reports, automatically notifying the relevant department responsible for the cleaning of any particular item, or area)• Blood track solution• RFID for security and inventory management
