GDPR Compliance- Leanplum relies heavily on user Data, and GDPR was a major impact to the business.- Helped design the solution to achieve full GDPR compliance.- Designed solution which handles robust workflow required by GDPR process.Cost / Scale / Reliability- As Backend Engineer, worked on various reliability and scaling project as Leanplum usage grew.- Identified scaling issue where traffic from big clients are using up cache space, causing traffic from most clients to miss cache. Implemented solution which split out select client to improve cache hit.

I had a great time at Amazon, and it was hard to leave that behind. As part of my goal to grow professionally and personally, I ultimately decided to leave the comfort zone to explore even more options.My current activities include reading technical books (currently - The Pragmatic Programmer: From Journeyman to Master), job searching, and solving algorithm problems. My current position allows me to study higher level software development techniques, that I previously didn't have time to. I'm also keeping coding techniques sharp by solving algorithm problems in actual coding environment.

Worked as a developer with the Sophos Anti-Spam team (later known as the SXL-Gateway team).Responsibilities included pair programming with a senior developer, setting up work environments for testing and developing, and working on test automation.

Worked as QA Analyst for TELUS.Responsible for test planning and test execution on assigned projects, and also participate in deployment testing.Was put in charge of QA Metric for the entire department; QA Metric examines defect report rate and defect fix rate, and other statistics to study project quality.
