I am a part of Georgia Tech Solar Racing, a student-run organization that designs, builds, and races solar-powered vehicles. I have been on the team since August 2018 as a frame team member and later became the Steering and Brakes Team Lead in August 2019.Throughout my four semesters with the team, I have helped build and improve our latest car, SR-3 in our collaborative workspace. I have gained practical engineering experience through design, fabrication, integration, and testing subsystems such as the parking brake and the steering mechanism. I have also manufactured carbon fiber composite body panels using manual layup, vacuum bagging, and autoclaving methods.
