Balancing Safety and Security in a time sensitive system, that was the topic of my master's thesis. And much like in time sensitive systems like modern cars, safety and security go hand in hand. In a modern digital society, with connected devices everywhere, information is transmitted, stored and accessed like never before. In my role as IT security Consultant, I've come across systems where information security, integrity and availability is critical for society to function and to be safe. Very much like in my thesis, you can not achieve safety without security.With a background as chairman and project leader, I feel like leaders should lead by example. Why should someone else go the extra mile if you don't do it yourself? Working as a team is the most efficient way to reach a goal, and without good leadership, a team might get lost in the task at hand.
