On this project, I was part of the company's Digital Transformation process for Managed Services.We were working on a platform for Work Orders tracking and management. This platform includes features like work tracking, financial tracking, materials handling, service catalog management, and integration with several systems.On this project I was in several roles, I was part of Dev team as Scrum Master and NodeJS developer, and later I lead a small team of QA developers in the implementation of automated tests using Cypress and at the same time was DevOps Engineer ensuring a smooth transition of software to various platform.I was participating in refining requirements, building platform architecture, creating and enforcing Quality Assurance strategy, and ensuring smooth operations of a live product.For the implementation part, we chose SCRUM as the methodology. We implemented a platform with several different modules. We developed from scratch a React UI, a NodeJS backend API with most of the business logic, a Java SE integration module for external SAP (OneERP) integration, and a Java SE client for Filenet integration.As a QA strategy, we chose both Cypress E2E functional tests and manual testing of some functionality.For operations, we integrated monitoring solutions.

This was a project in Qatar. I received the initial requirements for the SelfCare application on the new IPTV platform. This functionality was not available on the new platform, so it was needed to implement and integrate it with the IPTV platform and with existing customer service. Firstly, I created a high-level Solution Description from the initial requirements. Then followed application implementation, testing, and documentation.The client-side application needed to use existing proprietary SDK, so there wasn't much of a choice of framework, but at the back-end, there were no restrictions, so I chose the Java Spring Boot framework that fitted perfectly.

This was an IoT project for the City of Dallas.On this project, I was both a Developer and a Scrum Master.We adopted SCRUM as well as scaled SCRUM called SaFe methodology.It was a challenging project in terms of collaboration because there were multiple SCRUM teams (3-4) working on the same or similar code base, and that's why we had to have efficient communication.We implemented React client Web Application and NodeJs backend application(s) with Web Socket functionality and several integrations on the backend side for IoT data.

In this period, I tackled several projects for some IPTV opportunities in Ericsson.The first one was the implementation of a mobile IPTV application for Android and iOS environments. This application was implemented as a Web Application using the Ionic framework. For the JavaScript framework, we chose Angular that just arrived.The second one was the implementation of a brand new STB (Set-Top Box) client and SDK for the newly arriving IPTV platform.At the same time, I supported the A1 platform with Change Requests implementations, among which I would like to point out the introduction of NPVR functionality and Performance Audit.

This was a continuation of my previous job role but with more responsibility and a team of Developers to manage.The main focus was still the implementation of client-side features on JavaScript applications with SVG Markup that run on different STB (Set-Top Box) clients, but there were also features that required back-end side Java SE/EE applications with Oracle DB and various SOAP/XML integrations implementation.Now I was directly communicating with customers, gathering and refining requirements, creating solutions, giving estimates with proposed Solution Description documents, creating tasks for Developers, and in the end doing some of the development myself.This period was very interesting and challenging as in one moment I would tackle the task of giving an estimation for the implementation of some new feature that requires a high-level thinking approach and in the next moment, I would tackle a bugfix or optimization task which requires a low-level thinking approach.

I worked on an IPTV integration project for A1 in Austria as a Software Developer.The main focus was client JavaScript applications with SVG Markup that run on different STB (Set-Top Box) clients. Some of these STBs were limited in terms of hardware, for example, 30MB of available memory. Because of that development of client apps was also very interesting and challenging.Besides client apps, we developed backend Java SE and EE applications features that were not part of an existing platform.
