Managed escalations and provided thought leadership as required, resolving complex issues and ensuring successful delivery of architecture work.• Led a global team of solution architects with over 20 direct reports, responsible for counseling, training, performance reviews, and recruitment. Ensured appropriate budgeting and staffing of architecture work and timely delivery of high-quality, peer-reviewed architecture artifacts.• Chaired the architecture review board for Tax, ensuring alignment of business solutions to IT strategy and best practices. Responsible for counseling, training, performance management and recruitment.• Defined and implemented technology processes aligned to business objectives, including intake management, estimation, vendor assessments, and architectural quality reviews.• Produced detailed estimates of cost and duration, and recommended staffing models for small- to enterprise-scale solutions spanning a broad range of technologies across multiple portfolios.• Led a team of globally distributed architects and engineers in the successful design, implementation, and roll-out of an enterprise-scale business intelligence platform built on the Microsoft BI stack – SharePoint 2010, SQL Server 2008 R2 (Analysis Services, Integration Services, Reporting Services) – with a projected global audience of 140K users.
