The Martin Marks Institute mission is to co-create a world where conflicts are resolved by creating the space where trust can emerge. I founded the institute with the vision of identifying, facilitating, and resolving conflict at the personal, interpersonal, institutional, and cultural levels, and as society becomes more polarized I'm called upon more and more to help individuals and groups develop more effective and compassionate communication skills, particularly in our world of virtual meetings. Starting in 1998 I've been leading intense men's training for the ManKind Project around the world, focusing on authenticity, integrity, and emotional congruence. I've also been leading their Leadership Trainings which focus on the Container of Leadership, the Blessings and Burdens of Leadership, and becoming an Authentic Servant Leader. As an offshoot of this work I've been one of the lead facilitators for the Inside Circle prison work, and have worked directly with convicts at the California Department of Corrections, Folsom State Prison. Sharing space with men in an unsegregated and unsupervised environment in a Level Four, Maximum Security Facility, I tackle intense conflict work with prisoners. In my spare time I provide Strategic Consulting services to leaders and entrepreneurs focusing on Jungian Archetypes and how they impact every aspect of our lives. I also investigate the concept of Mature Masculinity and how to access it in a gender-fluid environment, as well as how Binary thinking traps our best ideas, shutting down the higher possibilities which I'm preparing to deliver for a TED Talk.

The ManKind Project is a global not for profit organization [501(c)(3) in the US] that conducts challenging and transformational trainings for men at every stage of life. It helps men through any transition, men at all levels of success, men facing almost any challenge. It's a global men's organization providing ongoing peer leadership opportunities, advanced leadership and emotional mastery trainings and a powerful community of brotherhood for tens of thousands of men around the world.

As Founder & Owner at Documentation Via Video, I spent 20 years providing multimedia services to high profile Civil Litigation across the United States. Our services included videotaping depositions & "Day-on-the-Life" projects; photographic & graphic services; and computer animation for accident reconstruction & re-enactment. Our clients and innovative projects included working with the City of San Francisco on the first “replica gun” cases; with Apple Computer on their historic litigation with Microsoft; and with HP, Intel & AMD on copyright, trademark and patent litigation.
