As an Energy Assessor (DEA & NDEA) at ATBEC, I take a lot of professional pride in ensuring that the energy surveys I carry out are done to the highest standard ensuring no stone is unturned to achieve an accurate EPC rating. Currently, I am responsible for carrying out energy surveys of commercial and domestic buildings, and creating EPC certificates, producing recommendation reports, fully costed bespoke retrofit reports with payback periods, the predicted EPC ratings of the buildings once the works have been completed and SBEM calculations for building control (BRUKL Reports including part F).I have recently qualified as a Retrofit Coordinator which is a relatively new role within the energy assessment industry. A retrofit coordinator is essentially a project manager for your improvement project and ensures the latest PAS2035 standards are being implemented giving you the assurance that the work is being done to the highest standards.
