1. Avert any AOG situation by clearance of urgent shipment of aircraft spare parts within shortest time possible. 2. Create a good working relationship with other partner government agencies such as KRA, KEBS, ACA, PHS through compliance of laws and regulations. 3.Update business through tracking and advising shortest time possible for clearance of aircraft spare parts and inflight catering materials. 4.Pro-active by ensuring all pre-arrival clearance documents are declared to ensure short lead times in customs clearance. 5.Replenishment of bonds 6. • Coordinate with freight forwarder to ensure timely customs clearance, delivery and receiving of consignments to the warehouses. • Maintain regular contact on working level with government offices such as KRA, Kentrade, Ministry of Health, The treasury and Pharmacy and poisons board. • Ensure quick and lean logistics process through shipment tracking, customs clearance and sharing the information to the related internal team members. • Dealing with all regulatory matters pertaining Pharmacy and poisons board in regard to medical device registration and retentions• Review of registration dossier for submission to the Pharmacy and Poisons board to ensure timely registration.• Follow up on medical devices submitted for registration and query responses. • Application of IDF on ICMS and permits on the Kentrade website. • Purchase order generation, posting of recurrent invoices and tracking of delivery notes issued using the SAP.
