Independent academic philosopher, born in 1974 in Copenhagen and raised in North Zealand. Lives in Birkerød with girlfriend and three children. After a career in business, he studied philosophy at the University of Odense from 2004 to 2010 and did his research in applied philosophy and creativity at Novozymes A/S. Today, he both researches and works with how we apply philosophy personally, problem-oriented and creatively. His own philosophical direction is therefor best defined as creative applied philosophy. Much of his work lies in the tension between how we, each of us, gain and/or struggles with better insight into ourselves, become clearer about our deep and complex issues - and how we can create new and better ideas, methods and solutions that can improve our situation and help us.Martin's work can best be characterized as deep, creative and constructive problem solving with innovation at many different levels and areas. It ranges from the deeply personal to the highly professional, and from the strategic organizational to the expressive cultural. Although the levels and areas are diverse and may not immediately seem connected, the root of his work is deeply rooted in initiating and helping with human change and development.The driving force stems from his lifelong interest in how we as humans overcome difficult problems and rethink perspectives, thoughts and ideas in response to the often difficult and profound human challenges we are confronted with. In order to open up this complex area of ​​interest, Martin, in addition to his practical creative application of philosophy, also combines literature, music, art, psychology and social research.
