About Martin Parr

I am a proper geek and have spent the last 20 years working in the IT arena, for a large part of that, I was content in a engineering role - but a few years back I was fortunate to have a couple of inspirational leaders come in and completely change my thoughts on IT, Architecture and Leadership - since then I have become a firm believer in Lean Management and Agile and now spend my time trying to improve that in our everyday working! Since my move towards leadership I have been responsible for a number of transformational projects and have been the key driver in a number of Executive Leadership sponsored initiatives to drive new strategies across IT.I am currently leading our efforts towards a DevOps Continuous Delivery approach and have found myself further drawn into the Lean Approach and am a massive fan of ‘The Phoenix Project’ (a must read for anyone aspiring to lead a technical organisation!).When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my kids who have the knack of keeping me busy! I am an avid sports fan (just about any kind of sport!) and enjoy getting along to as much rugby as I can.
