My department manages the Engineering IT systems within the company and provides IT services to the Engineering departments based across the UK. SAP PM, MM, PS and FICO modules form the backbone of our systems. As SAP Controller it’s my responsibility to ensure users are trained to an agreed standard and are then allocated appropriate roles before they access the systems. I’m responsible for the development of the training modules and training facilities to meet those requirements.I oversee and develop SAP interface programmes and KPIs to support the engineering functions, which include automated spreadsheets, Access and Oracle databases, and Intranet sites, all of which underpin our asset management strategy.Manage and control the inspection of all Lifting Equipment and Pressure Systems to ensure compliance with regulations governing their use, examination and maintenance.Manage a team of five System Engineers and seven Lifting Service engineers.

Supported the engineering department's IT systems, such as SAP. Involved in a major project to migrate the existing CMMS systems to SAP. Provided SAP training and support to system users across the UK.Developed IT interfaces between SAP and MS Office to extract data and to generate KPIs etc.

Managed a team of 8 Desktop Support Engineers. Responsible for the maintenance and support of 2000+ Desktop PCs for a large corporation with offices across the UK. Also provided IT training courses and small program development.
