In my current position, I work to save critically endangered ecosystems and species by establishing and managing reserves. Reserves have multifarious benefits to local communities and mankind more generally through the provisioning of ecosystem services (clean air and water, CO2 sequestration), jobs, and the joy of experiencing wild places. Having spent 15 years in academia, my focus is science-driven to deliver cost-effective solutions to the biodiversity crisis.
