Martin Schmidt is co-founder and managing partner of Beyond Intent AB. The company works for large and medium sized companies with strategic sustainability- and business development, as well as with geopolitical and geo-economic risk assessments for companies and organisations with large engagements or rapid expansion on foreign markets. The firm also engages in development cooperation evaluations and advisory.Martin has a background in development cooperation and credits, and has worked with aid evaluation and strategic planning in developing countries since 1996. He has worked as an advisor to Swedish embassies, corporations and multilaterals, development banks, UN agencies, partner governments and non-governmental organisations in close to 50 countries in Central- and Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.He holds a Masters' degree in international relations and economics, specialising in development economics, from Uppsala University.
