I studied at Exeter College and qualified as a Radio,Television and Electronics Engineer with Redifusion back in 1972. I was responsible for the servicing and repairs of Electronic equipment, but also the maintaining of the Redifusion Cable TV and Radio Network in Torquay and Paignton. I joined Chubb Alarms in 1975, to set up their CCTV division in the South West but I also gained installation and service experience in Intruder alarm and High Security installations progressing up to Installation Manager, Service manager and then Area Engineering Manager. I progressed into sales and surveying and became the top sales surveyor one year in the whole of the midland region, all over a 17 year career with Chubb. I also got involved with the training department based in Walton on Thames providing new product training and presentations throughout the South West.In 1992 I was approached to become the Area Director of the Bristol based company Alarm Service Group with the brief of getting them established in the South West. Over a ten year period I built the brand up and had branches in Saltash and Exeter and developed the Fire alarm business. I also trained as an internal auditor and became the company auditor overseeing the ISO 9001 Quality Management systems for the entire group.I completed a management buy out of the e Devon & Cornwall area in February 2001 and as a company ASG Security has gone from strength to strength with very many prestigious clients for all the discipline's of CCTV, Intruder alarms, Access control and Fire alarm systems. I have ensured we provide good quality design and installation and a personal service evidenced by our customer portfolio, NSI Gold Accreditation , NSI FIRE GOLD, BAFE SP203 for all modules, Design, Installation , Service, maintenance, commissioning and Verification showing my determination to be the best quality company .I completed the Fire Industry Association (FIA) Training for all the Fire alarm units including advanced design and have also trained in design and service and maintenance of Emergency Lighting systems
