Martin is a Law Enforcement and Security professional with over 25 years of service with the New York City Police Department (NYPD), and 24 years of service with the United States Army Reserve (USAR). Martin has a Masters Degree in Security Management and expertise in all traditional law enforcement and investigative operations. While assigned to the NYPD Counter Terrorism Bureau Martin completed and earned numerous training credentials in various homeland security related functions and operations. Martin retired from the NYPD in 2011 at the rank of Lieutenant.Martins military service includes two deployments over seas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). In OEF served as Staff Officer to the Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC) Provost Marshal, responsible for Taliban and Al-Qaeda detainee operations at Theater level.In OIF he served as a Operations Staff Officer in the 800th Military Police Brigade responsible for Enemy Prisoner of War and Civilian Internee Operations. Appointed to serve as Tribunal Officer for the purpose of conducting interviews and investigations of detainees eligible for repatriation. Also responsible for the Force Protection and security stance at Camp Bucca, Abu Graibe, and other internment facilities throughout Iraq. Martin retired from the Army Reserve in 2005 at the rank of Major.Proud to Serve!
