Mr. Stone (Marty) served as Egis Projects USA COO from 2013-2021 with responsibility for a wide range of Egis business activities in North America. He is now providing consulting services with ATKINS Global.Stone’s background includes: 40 years in transportation, tolling and professional training & communications Master’s Degree in Planning from the U of Fla and a Ph.D. in Public Administration Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Planned, developed and managed the installation of the 1st Free Flow Toll Lanes in Fla Planned and managed the 1st conversion of a full toll system to All-Electronic Tolling (AET) in Fla with new hardware, software and AET business rules Former Planning Director for Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority and consultant to Florida’s Turnpike  Conceived and planned over $1Billion in new major transportation projects  Managed the design and construction of the THEA headquarters and operations center in Tampa As an AVP for Training & Communications with Citibank, helped manage the transition of over 500 new agents as part of the relocation of multiple Citicorp Travelers Checks back-office operations from NY to a new Worldwide Service Center in TampaAs the former Planning Director for the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority, Stone planned and developed all new THEA projects from 1996 to 2011 including Tampa’s award-winning Reversible Express Lanes as well as managing THEA's deployment of advanced electronic tolling systems and urban design activities. He is an active member of the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association (IBTTA) acting as the first Chairman of the IBTTA Interoperability Committee to develop a plan to achieve US toll payment interoperability (5 years).As an AVP with Citibank, Stone managed training and communications for the relocation of the Citicorp Travelers Checks Worldwide Service Center from New York to Florida. His consulting career included major public and private transportation and toll industry projects for clients in the North America, Europe and Asia. He was also a URS senior planning consultant to Florida’s Turnpike and a Principle with Barton-Aschman Associates (now known as the Parsons Transportation Group). Stone was born in Lakeland, Florida and for 30 years was the internal press box announcer for University of Florida football and for 18 years he was the arena announcer for Gator basketball. Mr. Stone also served on active duty as an officer at the United States Army Logistics Management Center at Fort Lee, Virginia.
