Working in the backend team for globally distributed high-scale data storage service for messaging scenarios. My biggest accomplishments while working on this team were:.NET Core MigrationAs a tech lead behind this effort, we successfully modernized our tech stack and moved to the latest .NET Core technologies. It was a huge project spanning multiple quarters, that concluded successfully with the service deployed worldwide on .NET Core. One of the most significant benefits was the modernization and unification of our code-base, adoption of standard design patterns and libraries, and significant cost and latency improvements. Service Deployment ModelAs a globally deployed service, the deployment process was non-trivial and error-prone. The service requires many different resources to operate across multiple deployment regions (Storage Accounts, Cosmos DBs, Certificates, Traffic Manager Profiles, etc.). We worked on introducing an API for the deployment that allows us to manage our service topology and worldwide deployments very easily. Adding new resources to the service is also significantly improved and less error-prone.

I am leading a small team of professionals that provides core abstractions and services used across many teams in our organization. I oversee daily standups, lead technical discussions in our team and research potential technologies that can be leveraged by our platform. As a senior team member I try to help my fellow coworkers by reviewing the PR's, discussing the technical details of proposed solutions, sharing the technical knowledge and improving the overall architecture of our product.In our team we are consistently and reliably completing the goals set by our product owners with focus on overall quality of the code. We give great importance to testing the code thoroughly by writing unit and integration test suites for every new feature. The big part of my job is the design and documentation of common APIs that are easily consumable by other teams. These range from core HTTP abstractions, SQL management layer to more wide reaching features like the data synchronization API.

As part of core framework team my responsibility was the maintenance of existing features and also the design and implementation of new functionality required by other teams.
