I am an injured worker in Ontario, Canada. My goal has been to return to my profession as a public servant. I have ongoing difficulties with my health. I am currently experimenting with art as a tool of recovery. I currently paint which allows creativity and expression. My personal experience has taught me that by being creative, the para sympathetic nervous system is activated. Creativity through painting and or music stimulate both hemispheres of the brain. The focus of using art as a tool (painting for example) combines the body's "hardware" and "software" often causing a synergistic effect on the body which includes the brain. Art as an expression is as old as civilization itself. I am interested in early cave art, Egyptian Art et cetera.My art is "not for profit" and not for sale. My art is a hobby and passion. I would like to transition my artistic endeavours into a charity in the future when my health allows. I am focussing on diet, and moderate exercise as part of the health recovery model. I use meditation, and am open to proven alternative therapies in recovery.

I have had a series of roles as a Provincial Constable (Police Officer) in the Province of Ontario, Canada. These experiences included and were not limited to General Patrol - Traffic Duties that consisted of Highway Enforcement, Highway Interdiction, and General Duties. General Duties consisted of investigating various offences. I enjoyed learning and the variety of experiences each and every shift. I was provided specialized training in Traffic Enforcement - Laser and Radar Instructor, Qualified Breath Technician, Death Notification Officer, Level II Traffic Investigator, Advanced Interviewing Techniques, General Investigative Techniques, a designated Sexual Assault Investigator and proudly a Coach Officer of Auxiliary Members and several new recruits. At all times I served to the best of my ability.
