“Colora la scienza (draw science - Wissenschaft färben)” is a book dedicated to all children who are passionate about science.The book consists of 28 scientific-themed drawings starting from the microscope, passing through fossils and the coral reef, and up to the periodic table and volcanoes. Each drawing is accompanied by an explanation in Italian, German and English to encourage multilingualism.

Maintenance of embryogenic cell cultures of Vitis vinifera (cultivar Italia, Sultanina and Prosecco), development of mutagenesis protocols, bioinformatics analyses, identification of obtained mutants (Cell cultures, Real-time PCR, EMS-mediated mutagenesis, genomic analyses).

During my internship I conducted experiments on Arabidopsis thaliana and in Nicotiana tabacum to study the protein Whirly2. I developed skills in fluorescence microscopy, cloning techniques to obtain knock-out and overexpressing mutants, agroinfiltration and Clark electrode.

Part of my degree internship was conducted in this lab, were I developed skills in the following techniques: Real-time PCR, Western, Northern and Southern Blot an Blue Native Gel. I performed experiments both on Arabidopsis thaliana and in Nicotiana tabacum.

During my internship I developed molecular biology techniques for epigenetic analyses in Nicotiana tabacum.
