Staff, Participants and Employers are aware of their potential to change their own lives and the lives of those around them. My current job is to manage an amazing team of 25 (over 4 sites across greater Sydney) to develop and engage our local youth from all walks of life and help them become Valuable, Contributing members of the community.I Specialised in working with Youth aged 15-24 to assist with early intervention of welfare dependency, by coaching pre-employment and life skills and supporting them with links to various other community partners to support with external barriers they might be facing. I strive to bring awareness to the community and our participants of their immense potential, self worth and value, by designing and overseeing the delivery of various programs that have been specifically designed to target the needs of young people with various backgrounds and/or barriers who are in need of a mentor. Through our various programs we are able to support these young people through this important transitional time in their life. The programs aim to better equip these individuals and provide them with the necessary tools to prepare for this transition into long term sustainable employment.We have found that this program is extremely beneficial for young people who have a lot of fun, develop confidence and self esteem whilst in the process gain the tools and skills required to help them progress into the next important phase in their lives.
