A recognised independent expert in media literacy (however you want to define it). I help organisations (PSM, platforms, NRAs, research and public policy organisations, NGOs, CVOs etc.) figure out what their role is in the promotion of media literacy, critical thinking, digital participation and creativity to help counter issues like disinformation, the digital divide and online risks. Experienced in research, policy & strategy development, project development and management, and of course stakeholder engagement. I am the national coordinator for Media Literacy Ireland. Currently serving as the Independent Chair of the National Counter Disinformation Strategy Working Group and previously served as a member of the Council of Europe CDMSI sub-committee on Quality Journalism in the Digital Age (MSI-JOQ). Associate with Wagner-Hatfield.
