Passionate about environmental sustainability, I recently completed a MSc in Environment and Resource Management at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, specialising in ‘Global water challenges’, after having completed a MA in International Relations at Luiss Guido Carli in Rome.I am particularly interested in the topic of adaptation to the consequences of climate change from a gender equality perspective. I am currently a volunteer with the European Solidarity Corps at the Centro Juventude in Braga. I am involved in supporting the development of projects related to the Sustainable Development Goals with a focus on young people.In spring 2023, I did an internship at the British Embassy in Rome in the Climate and Energy Office, where I deepened my knowledge of how energy and environmental policy-making works at the diplomatic level. Furthermore, I am a member of the Italian team of Yes-Europe, an organisation composed of young students and professionals with the aim of promoting the energy transition in Europe.In the past, I did a six-month internship at the Public Affairs Office of the United States Embassy to the Holy See. During my university years, I collaborated with two student newspapers in writing articles mainly on international politics. I also participated for 7 months in the Corona Net Project in analysing and codifying Greece's public policies in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic. For 5 months, I had the opportunity to do a curricular internship with public speaking professor Alberto Castelvecchi during which I was involved in editing PowerPoint presentations, drafting documents and operational research.
