Developing a volunteer activity framework for Save the Children Finland. Working with the national unit's volunteer programmes to pick out best practices, learned lessons, challenges and needs through workshop facilitation in order to co-create functional encompassing structures and processes for coordinating diverse volunteer activities. As a follow up of the reporting on human rights violations in the West Bank, Palestine, I advocate for human rights by sharing the stories and experiences of communities from the region. The advocacy is targeting diverse audiences in civil society, private, public and third sector in Finland and beyond, through panel discussions, events, internal meetings, social media and art projects.

The master's thesis investigates Finnish experts understandings and experiences of power in crisis management missions. It was done in collaboration with the Crisis Management Centre Finland, where staff from different units as well as CMC's experts participated in interviews and workshops. The outcome, which is a concept on reflective practice, was created together with staff from the Research & Development and Training unit at CMC.

During spring 2020 doing part-time project work for Yhdessä Matkalla -project to create digital training material for volunteers who during the COVID-19 pandemic support refugee children and youth remotely. Recruiting and training new volunteers as well as creating the digital training programme for them.During winter 2020-2021 supporting Ole rohkea ja reilu® -moninaisuuskoulutus (Be brave and fair - diversity training) by creating educational material, the design of a booklet, for the diversity training.

Project Coordinator for the Vierellä -project focusing on supporting integration of young refugees and asylum-seekers who have arrived to Finland as unaccompanied minors. The work includes recruiting, training and following up on volunteers who become support families for 18-20 year old refugees and asylum-seekers. I have also been coordinating a youth group of unaccompanied minors and worked on making their voice heard in the public debates on integration in Finland. In addition to my main responsibilities I have also done graphic design, facilitated service design workshops and worked together with the communications, social media and event production teams at Yhteiset Lapsemme ry.
